  • STM 1120.0 Anglefish crossover from Bob423. see track named 'Anglefish crossover FL Keys Upper' Min depth is 4.6 MLLW on the ocean side for 100 ft (thereafter 8 ft). Use tide station Ocean Reef Harbor to use tide to make the pass. To be very safe, check the NOAA Vaca Key Water Level Station and review the actual versus predicted chart and if the difference is at least 0.5 ft, then you are okay, if less (like zero), then the MLLW is 4.1, not 4.6 MLLW. (information courtesy Bob423).

Shoaling between R2 and G3 to 4.5 MLLW, and you must go outside the green marker following a special track for 7.5 MLLW as of July 2023 to enter the anchorage. Avoid seagrass shoal in center at N of entrance that is marked (use Aqua Map with USACE). Anchorage is 5-1/2 to 6 ft. Good all-around protection. Channel busy with boats during day.

All in-water equipment will be properly lighted. The new bridge is expected to be completed in July 2026, with the full demolition of existing bridge expected in August 2027
