We purchased this boat in 2012 and have continuously upgraded and maintained her since.
The boat is equipped to allow a couple to cruise comfortably from one anchorage to the next,
with only weekly stops required for water and pumpout. We have cruised her several times
from Baltimore MD all the way to the Florida Keys, and the Bahamas, in comfort and confidence.
People frequently go out of their way to tell us how attractive our boat is.
The boat was last surveyed July 2023 for insurance purposes. The survey report validates the excellent
condition of the boat.
A master stateroom sleeps two, and a guest cabin sleeps another two people. The settee pulls out and
creates a large bed for up to three people.
The master stateroom has his and her closets, and the guest room has a closet as well.
The single bathroom has toilet with mercerator, sink, and separate shower.
The helm area easily seats four people on two benches.
The settee seats about five people around a table for eating, and entertainment.
The galley includes a microwave, double sink, propane stove + oven, and lots of storage.
The upper deck is a great social area where you can enjoy the scenery while seated in two
marine chairs stored on top in custom canvas covers.
The aft cockpit is easy to board/depart from, and can be used for fishing.
An attractive sunshade can be setup in the aft area to add shade and privacy.
Custom covers are available for all external windows to manage solar input to the boat.
The aft settee / galley area has pull down day/night blinds for additional protection from the sun and privacy.
Custom bug / noseeum screens for the two cockpit doors and the aft door maximize air flow throughout the boat.
The HVAC system keeps the entire boat interior comfortable in both hot and cold conditions.
The boat cruises easily at 8.5 to 10 knots, consuming on average 6 gph, and has a range of over 334 nm (384 mi).
The forward bow thruster assists in docking.
A large chartplotter, radar, and AIS assist in navigation.
The sonar provides a detailed profile of the bottom and fish.
A camera mounted aft makes it easy to monitor what is behind you from the chartplotter.
A heater connected to the engine cooling system provides (free) heat and window defrosting.
The engine room has lots of room with full access to the single 330 hp diesel, and the
6 kW diesel generator.
The engine / generator log book details the constant preventative maintenance performed on
the engine and the generator.
Special tools and detailed custom guides have been created to make those maintenance tasks easy.
All spare parts and tools except for the standard mechanics toolbox will remain with the boat.
A heater in the engine room delays the need to winterize the engine/generator when the boat is
kept in a slip during cold conditions.
The 6 kW diesel generator runs the HVAC system, microwave, and provides general 110 VAC power when
shore power is not available.
When shore power is available, the separate HVAC / house connections may be made to the boat at either
the starboard mid position, or at the transom (automatic switching).
The 520 W of solar panels on the roof provide energy to run the refrigerator/freezer during the day, plus
charging of the 900 Ah (9x AGM batteries) battery bank. At night, the battery bank runs the
refrigeration and anchor light. I have achieved 7 years battery life with this system.
Propane fuels the stove / oven and one tank typically lasts eight months or more (we cook nearly every day).
The propane locker has room for two 20 lb propane tanks.
We mostly anchor out, so we invested in the best anchor system we could find.
The Ultra model UA21, 21 kg anchor provides superior holding in any bottom condition we have enountered.
The 200 ft of 5/16" HT Grade 43 (G4) ISO short link chain is joined to 200' 5/8" 3-strand nylon line
provides an anchor rode for any location and condition.
When fishing, a reef anchor with 200 ft of rode for deep water is employed.
The tender is a 10 ft Polycraft 300 manufactured from polyethylene.
Despite its light weight, it is sturdy and provides safe transportation between the boat and shore.
A Tohatsu 6hp provides propulsion.
A Garmin chartplotter with advanced sonar provides navigation for fishing from the tender.
The tender is stored on the boat transom by a custom davit system (Sea Wise) that is easy to deploy, and it keeps
the tender out of the way when cruising and docking.
Dock the tender to the back of the boat, lock it into the custom brackets, drop the hydraulic lifting arm,
connect it to the transom bracket, and then toggle the switch on the transom in the other direction to
effortlessly raise the tender 90 degrees (the outboard stays in an upright position!).
A custom securing bar and rope clutch secure the tender in rough conditions at sea.
A pair of folding bicycles are stored on the outside upper deck in a square aft port canvas covered area with frame. Each bike is stored in a bag,
making it easiy to transport by tender to shore.
The boat will be in the middle Florida Keys (Marathon) until March 2024, and then it will travel up the Atlantic intercoastal waterway (ICW)
over a period of 3 to 4 weeeks to its home port near Baltimore MD.
We are ready to part with the boat and pursue other interests, and will accept only a fair offer.
